Fees and Billing Arrangements
The Peterborough Medical Centre is a Bulk Bill practice. Veterans will be asked to sign the service voucher. There is also a Government Incentive to Practices that Bulk Bill concession card holders. So if you hold a current Pension or Health Care Card please show to reception staff when presenting Medicare Card.
Please be aware that Medicare does not cover all consultations. i.e. If you need a heavy vehicle drivers licence, or licence accreditation, this will need to be paid for by yourself and no part can be claimed through Medicare.
Employment medicals cannot be claimed through Medicare and will incur a fee, either your intending employer or yourself will need to pay for this consultation.
If you are an overseas visitor you will need to pay the full amount on the day & claim back through your Health Insurance Company.
