The practice caters for all aspects of general practice, including women's and men's health, aged care and paediatrics (kids health), including all childhood immunizations.
Our doctors also cater for specialised areas such as:
- skin checks using dermoscopy and Derm-Doc imaging.
- appropriate treatment of sun spots, moles and skin cancers.
- onsite, instant INR testing for those taking warfarin.
- dive medicals.
- industrial and workplace medicals (including urine drug testing onsite).
- hearing tests (audiometry).
- sexual health.
- laser acupuncture.
- musculo-skeletal medicine - spinal manipulation and mobilization.
- travel medicine, including yellow fever vaccination. We have the most common travel vaccines in stock. They are sold without GST. Rebates can be claimed on some private insurance. Rabies (pre-exposure) vaccine and Japanese encephalitis vaccines will need to be ordered in and require pre-payment by the patient. Rabies and ABL or Australian Bat Lyssavirus (post exposure) management for a risky animal bite overseas or an Australian bat bite or scratch is a special case and an urgent consultation with the doctor is needed. Vaccines and immunoglobulin are available without payment from Qld Health in such cases.
