Results of pathology tests and imaging:  We ask that you make an appointment with your doctor to discuss your pathology and imaging results. The reception staff are not able to advise on or release medical information over the telephone or otherwise.

Home Visits: Home visits are available for regular patients of the practice who are unable to attend the surgery because of their medical condition. They will usually  be possible at the end of the day. Visits can also be arranged for Nursing Home and Hospital. These services are available at the discretion of the doctor.

Telephoning Your Doctor: Doctors in this practice may be contacted during normal surgery hours. If the doctor is with a patient a message will be taken and the doctor will return your call when possible. Please emphasise with the reception staff if the call is about an emergency so priority attention can be assessed.

Privacy:  At Medifirst we have a Privacy Policy available for perusal on request at reception and on this site –this will be relevant if you seek access to information held in your records at the practice.

Complaints and feedback:  We appreciate your feedback and suggestions to improve the services of the practice. If you wish to complain about any aspect your experience with us you are welcome to do that verbally or in writing to the Doctor, Nurse, or Reception Staff. As a final resort a person can make complaint to the Health Rights Commission, Level 19, 288 Edward Street, Brisbane.

Sterilising: All surgical instruments used in the practice are sterilised using the accredited autoclave method for your safety.
