After Hours
AFTER HOURS CARE:
Medifirst recognises that patients require access to health care services after hours. The practice contracts with Family Care Medical Services to provide an After Hours Home Visiting Service. Contact number is 13 7425 or 13 SICK. Private fees apply to these visits although those on pensions are usually bulk billed. For a nominal annual fee local families can sign up to join a Friendly Society that will mean any home visit after hours service from Family Care Medical Services will be bulk-billed. Inquiries about this can be made with our reception staff.
There is an Emergency Medical Centre at the Noosa Hospital, 111 Goodchap Street, Noosaville, Phone: 5455 9200.
A GP After Hours Service also operates at the Noosa Hospital until around 10 pm and on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.

Emergency Information
During hours our doctors will give priority to dealing with any emergency cases that present at or near the practice. Our staff will triage cases and some may need direct referral to hospital.
