When GP closed, acute care is provided at the centrally located hospital and assessed including calls to ED specialist doctors at Lismore Base Hospital.

This facility is open 24/7 to everybody, patients of our practice, visitors, travellers or usual patients of a different GP service not available to them at the time
You can present in person, by private transport or ambulance and may call ahead of arrival.
The RN on duty is duty bound to assess everyone and decide to treat or refer to a larger hospital according to their findings and the time of day or night.
The duty staff MUST see you, you can insist.
Serious emergencies must go straight to the hospital.
Persons attempting to be seen as emergencies at the surgery will be redirected to the hospital A&E without seeing the doctor or nurse. Do not waste time in acute situations, go straight to the hospital where all the essential investigation and treatment equipment is available and staff are rostered to act immediately you arrive there ...
