The Ardrossan Medical Centre is a privately owned and operated service.
Allied healthg services are based at the the Ardrossan Community Health Centre, which leases rooms to a range of allied health providers including:
- a dental surgery
- podiatrist
- audiologist
- ophthalmologist
- general surgeon
The Yorke Peninsual Division of General Practice also has mental health services visit the health centre, these include a psychologist and counsellor.
GP and NURSE TRAINING
We have a long standing involvement in the training of GP's through the Adelaide to Outback rural GP training program. Dr Stanley is an accredited supervisor for Registrars.
In 2012 we have taken on a new role in the training of nurses. There will be teams of 2 trainee nurses located at the centre throughout the year.
