Waramanga Medical Centre is not a bulk-billing practice. An exception is made for old-age pensioners DVA pensioners.
A normal visit is 10-15 minutes and concerns ONE particular medical problem such as a respiratory infection or BP check etc. It is classified by Medicare as a level B consultation. The standard charge is $36.00. Health Benefits Card and Seniors Card Holders are charged $27.00 and the medicare rebate is $22.50.
If a more complex problem such as generally feeling unwell, or needing a check-up, or more than one problem needs attention, then a longer appointment of 20-30 minutes needs to be made.
The usual charge is $60.00 with a reduced charge of $50.00 applying to card holders. The Medicare rebate is $40.60.
Please note that payment is expected at the time of consultation and we accept cash, cheque, Bankcard, Visa and Mastercard and EFTPOS.
