After Hours
Our surgery subscribes to National Home Doctor Service which is an after hours service that provides doctors to make home visits to our patients. These home visits are fully bulk billed. The number for the after hours service is 13SICK or 13 7425.
All progress notes from the home visit consultation are faxed to our surgery to be added to your medical file for ongoing review if necessary.
Emergency Information
Urgent consultations with Dr Charteris are available after hours by calling 9679 1098 (these visits are to be paid for by cash/cheque at the time and fees are variable in accordance with AMA rates). If he is out, the answering service will advise you to call his mobile telephone 0432 256 613.
If the telephone is out of radio range (common in the valleys around here) please try again later. If it cannot wait please call an ambulance on 000 or go to the nearest public hospital. You are unable to leave messages on the machine or the phone service.
