Appointments

Appointments are preferred for all consultations.  Standard appointment times are 15 minutes per patient. This is normally enough time for the doctor to discuss a couple of health problems, which may involve discussing a short history, carrying out a simple examination & prescribing medication.

We ask if patients can inform our receptionists if they require a longer appointment, this will help keep our doctors on time & allow them to give your health issues the attention they deserve.

Some examples for longer appointments:

§ Minor procedures

§ Multiple patients (eg parent & children)

§ Mental Health Plans

§ Complex health problems

§ Immunisations

§ Pap smears
