McDowall Family Medical Centre is a Mixed Billing Practice.

Bulk Billing is only available during the week for Aged Pensioners, Health Care Card Holders and Children under the age of 16.  However there will be a discounted fee for Saturday mornings and some special procedures during the week.

Our Normal Surgery Fees are as follows:-

Monday - Friday Appointments

Standard (<20mins) = $65.00  (Rebate = $37.60 & O of P = $27.40)

Long (20-40mins) = $100.00  (Rebate = $72.80 & O of P = $27.20)   

Extra Long (>40mins) = $135.00  (Rebate = $107.15 & O of P = $27.85)

Saturday appointments

No Bulk Billing available on Saturday.

Saturday morning appointments are billed at a slightly higher rate

Children & Concession Card Holders will be charged at a discounted fee. 

Standard (<20mins) = $70.00  (Rebate = $37.60 & O of P = $32.40)

Long (20-40mins) = $105.00  (Rebate = $72.80 & O of P = $32.20)   

Extra Long (>40mins) = $140.00  (Rebate = $107.15 & O of P = $32.85)

We are registered LMO's for Veteran Affairs. 

Home visits and after hours visits are privately billed. 

Visits for a work-related injury or illnesses are treated at the expense of the Employer's Insurer or WorkCover Queensland.
