Fees
Our practice does not bulk bill since we can no longer maintain our standards of medical care on the rebate available. However, we recognise that some of our patients are less able to contribute to the cost of their medical care than others and we therefore maintain a separate, \'concession\' fee scale for patients with health care cards.
Details of both concession and standard fee scales are available from the receptionist.
We ask that patients settle their accounts in full at the time of their consultation. In addition to cash and cheque we also accept EFTPOS, BankCard, MasterCard and Visa. Regular patients may elect to pay just the gap but a small administrative charge is added to help defray costs.
There is a Medicare office close-by in Hunter Street or we can assist you by submitting the Medicare claim form on your behalf.
Workers Compensation and third party insurance fees are a little higher than standard to cover the additional reporting requirements and we ask that patients settle these accounts personally and seek reimbursement from the insurer late
