Appointments

Please notify the receptionist when booking the appointment if it is for vaccination or workcover, and again at arrival in the surgery. Please give your practice record number when ringing for appointments, (if you have one). Complex problems are not seen during our busy periods. This is usually between 5-7 pm on an evening and morning sessions from May to October. The duration of a standard consultation is about 10 minutes. If you feel that your problem may take longer please advise reception when making appointment. Appointments missed will be charged unless prior notification is received (of at least 2 hours notice). Late arrivals will need a new appointment. Doctors return phone calls to patients at a set time during each session. If you need to speak to a doctor, reception will advise you of the time to be by the phone. Emergencies are put directly through to the doctor.

Home Visits Doctors will make home visits if necessary for medical reasons. Please call Before 10.00 am if a visit is required that day.

Visits will usually be done if you live within a three kilometer radius of the clinic. The fee will be $62.00

Repeat Prescriptions Prescriptions are legal documents and should be only given by the Doctor upon full assessment of the patient. Telephoned requests for prescriptions are usually not good medical practice, there is a charge of $5.00 for each prescription without consultation.
