Fees and Billing

APPOINTMENTS:

 

Please ring 9748 9777 for an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time. Emergencies will always be given priority and our reception staff will attempt to contact you if there is any unforeseen delay or your doctor has been called away.

Longer consultation times are available, so please ask our receptionist if you require some extra time. If you or your family member requires an interpreter service we can organise this for you, please let us know when you make the appointment.

Phone Calls:

If you wish to speak to your doctor, usually he will need to call you back (in order to minimise delays in the waiting room.) If your call is urgent, please explain the reason so that we can interrupt a consultation. If you need a test result please please make an apponintment, no result will be given other the phone

FEES AND BILLING:

All consultations with the General Practitioners are bulk billed, unless otherwise stated.

The doctor or staff will advise you of any other costs that may arise from your consultation or treatment.

Dental is not covered under Medicare.  Private Health Insurance can be claimed at time of consultation with only gap payment to be paid.  This practice uses HICAPS.

HOME VISITS: Private residence, nursing home and hostel visits can be managed for existing patients of the practice who are unable to attend the surgery because of their medical condition. Please call the clinic during normal opening hours for further information.

After Hour emergencies are available through our Locum Service on 9429 5677.

On site parking provided for disabled patient. Easy access to the clinic and to the rooms.
