Fees
I charge Medicare Fees for general consultations, & Bulk Bill most Pensioners. Health Care Card holders & those on other types of Government assistance are assessed on an individual basis.
Most in-room minor procedures are charged at just above Medicare rates , incurring a minimal Gap fee .eg, Consultation, colposcopy & Cervix biopsy - - - - $45 Gap fee.
For Uninsured patients. Obstetric Fees are based on the MBF Fee structure, creating a Gap Fee of over $700. Delivery in a Private Hospital will cost these Patients an extra $1500.
Gynaecology Uninsured patients are charged variable fees depending on the procedure & individual circumstances.Such patients need to discuss their individual circumstances at the time of consultation.
For fully insured patients, I charge the Gap Cover fee & thus these patients have no extras to pay.
