APPOINTMENTS

  No one should wait longer than 3 days for an appointment. 
  
    All  appointments for all areas are made through the Buderim rooms.

Billing

  Most consultations are billed at Medicare rates.

Old- age   Pensioners are generally  Bulk billed. Other concessional  card 
holders  are billed at rates depending on the level of service needed, & 
individual  circumstances.

After - Hours Cover

 I look after all my own Private patients week days  & nights. For week-ends 
&  public holidays, I do a 1 in 3 roster with the other 2 Obstetricians in the 
area. We all also cover each other for urgent situations & urgent deliveries 
during the day to ensure that no Private patient  delivers without an 
Obstetrician present.

 I generally take 2 - 3 weeks off  around Sept - Oct. each year. My  two other 
colleagues provide  emergency  &  After - Hours  cover on a roster basis 
worked out between themselves .   Patients are seen mainly by  the  one 
person for routine appointments & follow - up visits  during the day., & all 
Billing is done by my secretaries  through my  Buderim  surgery to avoid 
confusion.
