APPOINTMENTS

We operate an appointment system where we encourage patients to ring and make an apoointment. We are constantly revising this system to try and enable quick access to doctors for all patients without excessive waiting times. This is fraught with the difficulty of not knowing in advance how long each consultation will take, or how many emergencies will need to be fitted in throughout the day. Our greatest concern is that our patients should be able to see us when they are unwell. At all times we will try to fit patients in to see the doctor of their choice at the time requested but at some times this is not possible and patients may be given another time or doctor. We are displeased that when patients are at their most needy they may be turned away or asked to wait too long to see their doctor

FEES

Standard Consultation

Payment at time of consultation      $60.00  (Medicare Rebate $37.05)

Long Consultation

Payment at time of consultation      $95.00  (Medicare Rebate $71.70)

We will continue to bull bill all old age pensioners and children, including full time tertiary students. We are online with Medicare Australia. This means that we can submit your claim online and payment can be sent to you by cheque or deposited directly into your bank account. If you would like the payment put into your bank account you will need to provide us with your BSB number and Bank Account Number.
