Telephone Enquiries

The doctors will take phone calls relating to you or your family’s health.  If they are busy  with a patient at the time, the receptionist will give you a time that you can ring back when they will be able to take your call, or arrange a time that the doctor will ring you back.  For routine pathology results please phone the Sister on Monday, or Friday between 10am and 2pm on 9838-7699.

Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on long term or regular medication continue to need monitoring.  This is to ensure that the condition remains well controlled and that management is the most appropriate in the light of current best practice guidelines.

All patients requesting repeat prescriptions will be invited to make an appointment with the doctor of their choice. There is a nominal $2 charge for scripts if not seen by the doctor at the time.

Referrals

We take pride in using leading specialists.  Should you need to seek a specialist opinion, it is best that we make the request and co-ordinate any specialist services that may be required.

Information that the doctor writes in your referral letter is vital to your health.  You will be requested to make an appointment if you need a referral so that all clinically relevant details of your  health can be included.  The findings then can come back to our central bank of medical records, avoiding any fragmentation of your treatment.

Facilities for People with a Disability

On-site parking is available as is a ramp into the main part of the surgery.  Should you have any special needs please discuss these with the doctors or the reception staff.
