The Elms Family Medical Centre

The Elms Family Medical Centre was established in 1994 by Dr Rob Hosking. Dr Hosking was joined in partnership by Dr Woodrow Wu in 2009..The centre is a broad based family practice of traditional nature.We attempt to provide the best quality medical care in a friendly, happy environment.As well as the usual problems of family illnesses we have special interests in Obstetrics and some doctors deliver at Bacchus Marsh Hospital(public hospital).We also are keen to provide preventive care with regular checkups for women(Pap tests,breast checks etc.) and men(cholesterol,blood pressure,and prostate checks). Children are well catered for with all doctors very experienced in Paediatrics and a Nurse who provides immunisations.Family planning is a particular strength at the practice with contraception advice, IUD insertion, Implanon insetion,Depo injections and Vasectomies all being available.
The practice also hosts medical students from Deakin University and is a strong supporter of gp training via the General Practice Training Program.
