RESULTS: These are best discussed in a follow-up consultation to ensure proper medical care, review of condition and re-examination. Results will not be given over the phone due to lack of confidentiality, inability to re-assess condition and the potential for misunderstanding.
REFERRALS & PRESCRIPTIONS: Will not be issued without prior consultation with a Doctor. APPOINTMENTS: This surgery operates on an Appointment Basis. Please ensure that you make an Appointment to avoid refusal when fully booked. If you want a Medical (ie. driving, insurance, employment etc), review of a complex health problem, counselling for emotional difficulties or a second opinion you will need to book a longer appointment than usual. This may involve a longer wait, but your problem will get the attention it deserves. Please bring with you relevant letters and test results from other doctors.
If you can't make your appointment, PLEASE cancel or reschedule at least 1 hour before your appointment otherwise if you're late/miss your appointment you will be charged a $30 dishonour fee. If more than one person from your family wishes to see the doctor at the same time, please ensure a separate appointment is made for each family member to avoid dissappointment.
