Typical fees for standard Consultations are $85.00 with a medicare rebate of $41.40. Long consultations are $125.00 with a rebate of $80.10. Pensioners, Children and Health Care Cardholders may pay a $40.00 Gap fee or $75.00 for a standard consultation with a medicare rebate of $41.40 (if paid by EFTOS and have a bank account card you may be able to receive an immediate credit into your account of the medicare rebate thereby reducing your out of pocket expense to $33.60). Veterans’ Affairs are directly billed. Fees for longer consultations and procedures are available upon request. Some doctors may charge less.
We run an appointment system, and keep times open for urgent problems. There may be times when the doctor of you choice is fully booked. In that case, we can book you in with another doctor of your choice or put your name on a waiting list and we call you when an appointment time is available.
