Home Visits
The surgery doctor provides Home visits for patients who cannot come to
the surgery because of their medical conditions. Nursing Home and
Hostel visits are also provided.
After Hours Care
The surgery provides After Hours care through Locum Doctor Service.
They can be contacted directly on 8290 3333.
The Locum doctors attend patients at their homes; their repsonse time
depends on the workload at that particular point in time. Patients are
advised to check if there is any additional cost other than Medicare fees
while ringing the Locum Service.
Test Results
Patients are advised to contact the surgery to find out the results of tests
( pathology, x-ray etc) or make an appointment, if needed, to discuss the
results with the doctor. It is in the patients\' best interest to discuss with the
doctor in person.
Telephone queries
Telephone queries from patients are handled in a manner that befits the
nature of the query. Receptionists attend to simple queries but pass on
matters to the Doctor depending on the nature of your query.
Patients are advised to give as much information as possible to the
receptionist regarding the problem so that it can be handled accordingly
thus saving time for themself and the staff.
Heaalth Information
The surgery provides information on various health issues through printed
pamphlets to take home. Audio and video cassettes are also available for
patients to take home to listen / view and then return. Ask staff for any
information on a topic in which you are interested.
Special interests
Dr.(Mrs) Pathi , besides providing the full range of a General Practitioner,
has special interests in women and childrens health, diabetes and mental
health.
