This practice offers a recall or reminder system for people with chronic illness or for routine Preventative Health such as PAP smears, Blood Pressure checks and Cholesterol etc.  If you wish to receive a reminder for any routine follow up please discuss with the doctor at time of consultation.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

Prescriptions for medicines taken regularly are generally not available unless prior arrangements with the doctor have been made.

TEST RESULTS

The preferred method of obtaining  test results is to book a further consultation with your General Practitioner.

REFERRALS TO SPECIALISTS

When requesting referrals it is appropriate to see your doctor in the first instance.  He or she can then assess your condition and its urgency and if necessary write a referral to the most appropriate specialist.

FACILITIES FOR PEOPLE WITH A DISABILITY

There is a ramp suitable for a wheel chair at the side entrance of the surgery in Briggs Street.  If you have any special needs please discuss them with the receptionists or your doctor.

TELEPHONING YOUR DOCTOR

You can contact doctors in this practice by telephone during normal surgery hours. A message will be taken when the doctor concerned is with another patient. Of course, in an emergency calls will be put straight through.
