Pain Relief And Management Centre

A Specialist Medical Practice providing multidisciplinary assessment and treatment for patients with sub-acute or chronic pain states.

The Practice comprises two Consultants in Pain Medicine (an Anaesthetist and a Rehabilitation Physician), together with a Clinical Psychologist (Pain Management), an Exercise Physiologist and an Occupational Therapist.

Other Medical Specialists and Health Care Providers with qualifications and experience in specific areas of pain relief are located within the Canberra Specialist Centre in the suburb of Deakin, A.C.T. It is intended that some of these people will be associated with the Pain Relief and Management Centre and that the Centre will gain accreditation with the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists for teaching and training purposes.
