APPOINTMENTS:
Please ring Mt Barker Surgery 8391 0699 or Balhannah Surgery 8388 4379 for an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time. Emergencies will always be given priority. Appointment times are generally 10 minutes.
Longer times are available, so please inform our receptionists if extra time is needed. If you or family members require an interpreter service, we can organise this.
FEES & BILLING:
This Practice uses HIC Online for all billing. If you register with HIC they will reimburse, directly to your savings account or if paying the total bill on the day and providing us with your account details, Medicare Australia will process and deposit your refund within three working days. This eliminates the need to forward a cheque to the surgery. Your banking details are not recorded within this office, ensuring top level security. However, it does mean you will need to provide them at each visit. Please pick up a record slip on your next visit to the surgery.
Fees are payable at the time of consultation, by cash, card or cheque. Our fee structure is displayed in the reception area of the surgery. If you have any difficulty in paying our fees, please discuss this with us prior to consultation.
Pensioners are usually bulk-billed. Veterans may sign a service voucher. Health Care cardholders may be charged a gap payment for some procedures and services.
