Dr Ian Baker

Ian founded the practice at Kallangur in 1982  after returning from Central Australia as a Flying Doctor for 5 years.  He was fortunate there to have extensive experience with traditional Aboriginals as well as Pastrolists, some of whom became firm friends. In 2008 he relocated the practice to new premises Gregor Street West,North Lakes and renamed the practice as Lakelands Medical Centre. The move allowed space  for more GPs, a better Nursing support team as well as room for psychologist, visiting specialists and other Allied Health.

Ian enjoys seeing patints who were brought to the practice as children grow into adulthood andnow bring their own children as patients.
