AFTER HOURS OUR POLICY ON AFTER HOURS CONSULTATIONS ARE THAT IF IT IS AN EMERGENCY AND THE PATIENT IS A REGULAR CLIENT DR HOOD HAS HIS MOBILE NUMBER ON OUR ANSWERING MACHINE AND WILL ADVISE THE PATIENT WHAT TO DO ETC. HOME VISITS ARE MADE TO THE ELDERLY WHO ARE INCAPACITATED, CHRONICALLY ILL PATIENTS AND REGULAR PATIENTS WHO ARE UNABLE DUE TO ILLNESS TO COME TO THE SURGERY. ALTERNATIVELY SWAN DISTRICTS HOSPITAL WILL RECEIVE ALL EMERGENCY CASES.

CONSULTATION IS BY APPOINTMENT. URGENT CASES WILL BE SEEN ON THE DAY.HOME VISITS ARE MADE TO REGULAR PATIENTS.LONG APPOINTMENTS; IF YOU WANT AN INSURANCE MEDICAL, REVIEW OF A COMPLEX HEALTH PROBLEM, COUNSELLING FOR EMOTIONAL DIFFICULTIES, OR A SECOND OPINION ABOUT SOMEONE ELSE\'S MANAGEMENT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU BOOK A LONGER APPOINTMENT AND BRING WITH YOU RELEVANT LETTER AND TEST RESULTS FROM YOUR OTHER DOCTORS.
