Foothills Medical provides excellent services to their patients, and generally has longer than average appointments.
Private patients pay a gap beyond the Medicare refund, and the staff will be happy to explain the fees.
The surgery charges Pension Card and Health Care Card Holders a small fee of five dollars per visit, reflecting the severe changes over many years the government has made to the rebate. This allows him to continue to provide high quality services to his patients. Veteran Affairs Card Holders are bulk-billed to Veterans Affairs.
A fee of five dollars applies to urgent prescriptions required with less than 24 hours notice.
To help those who wish to pay at the time of consultation, this practice will process your Medicare claim when you pay the gap. Medicare will then send you the cheque, which you should forward on to us.
