Phone Calls
For the benefit of patients telephone interruptions during consultations need to be kept to a minimum. In most cases practice staff will be able to help with your enquiry. If you need to speak to a doctor it may be necessary to arrange a mutually conveniently time for the call. Emergency situations are an exception and will be delt with immediately.
Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions without consultation can sometimes be issued at the doctor\'s discretion. It is helpful if 24 hours notice is given to deal with such requests. A fee of $5.00 will be charged.
Renewal of Referrals
Continuing referrals to specialists without consultation may be issued at the doctor\'s discretion. There may be a charge of $3.00 for this service.
Home Visits
Home visits are available for our patients whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery. However, wherever possible patients are encouraged to come to the surgery as a far broader range of facilities are avaiable. If you need a home visit please contact the surgery as soon as possible after 7 am.
