<p><strong> Appointments </strong> Every effort is made to see patients as close as possible to their appointment time. However this is a Caring Practice and the length of tests is not always predictable as emphasis is placed on the needs of the patient.</p>
<p><strong> Staff </strong> All Staff are courteous and friendly and make every effort to accomodate the needs of the patients.</p>
<p><strong> EEG, EMG &amp; Nerve Conduction Test Results </strong> The results of investigations performed at the practice are forwarded to the referring Doctor as soon as possible. Results may be faxed, phoned or sent by mail or email (according to requirements).</p>
<p><strong> Patient Instructions - EEG and Evoked Responses </strong> EEG or Evoked Responses Clean dry hair with no hair oil, spray, gel or mousse is required. These tests investigate the functioning of the nervous system and are very straightforward procedures. Electrodes are attached to the scalp with paste and recordings are made. The procedures are painless and straightforward. The EEG test takes about one hour and the evoked response testing takes half to one hour.</p>
<p><strong> Patient Instructions - Nerve Conduction Study and/or EMG </strong> Wear loose fitting clothes to allow access to the affected area of the body. Do not apply skin creams or make-up to relevant areas. The duration of the test varies considerably but averages half an hour.</p>',
