An Out-Patient Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic situated on the grounds of St. John\'s Hospital in South Hobart, providing specialist assessment and treatment for children and young people under the age of 18 years with mental health problems, such as disruptive behaviour disorders, depressive and anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, self harm behaviours, phobias, school refusal, attachment disorders, grief and loss reactions, relationship problems, etc. A wide range of well researched and validated treatment modalities are used including individualised therapy, play therapy, parent counselling, behaviour therapy, psycho education and psychotrophic medication.
