Policy

APPOINTMENTS By telephoning 07 3211 3611 or visiting the practice you can make an appointment. We endeavour to keep appointment times, however emergencies can disrupt scheduling. You may call prior to your appointment time to confirm whether there is a delay.

HOUSE CALLS House calls are available within the CBD & city fringe 24 hours a day for emergencies by calling our deputising agent, Family Care Medical Service, on 07 3831 9999.

OUTSIDE SURGERY HOURS When our practice is closed, our answering machine can advise patients of the closest 24 hour surgery which is open.

RESULTS Results are of a confidential doctor-patient relationship, and as such we generally do not give out results of blood tests, etc over the telephone. If it is of a personal or sensitive nature we recommend patients make an appointment to discuss it with the doctor.

Appointments

We book routine appointments every 15 minutes, however regrettable delays may occur if there have been emergencies as we believe urgent medical problems should always be dealt with promptly.

Should you require a longer consultation due to medical examination requirements, excisions, etc, please be sure to notify the receptionist to help avoid delays.

Patients attending the surgery without a booking will be seen as soon as possible.
