Dr Bruce Whelan
MBBS
Dr W. Bruce Whelan graduated from the University of Queensland in 1967
and has been working in general practice since 1971. Working as one of the
doctors at the Gold Coast drug council in 2006, Dr Whelan has a world of
knowledge in drug addiction medicine, general psychiatry and dual diagnosis.
He was also recently involved in teaching medical students at both Bond and

areas of general practice.
Dr Whelan works from 8am to 5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from
8am to 12pm on Fridays. Please ensure you book ahead of time for your
