As of 1st july 2001, Bangalow Medical Centre will charge the following fees:

Old Age Pensioners will be Bulk Billed. Disability Support Pensioners will be Bulk Billed. Children (under 18 yrs) will be Bulk Billed. Veterans Affairs Patients will be Bulk Billed

Standard consultation (less than 20 minutes): Standard- $35 Health Care Card Holders- $ 30 Pensioners, Children - Bulk Billed

Long Consultation ( 20 to 40 mins) Standard- $ 55 Health Care Card Holders- $ 50 Pensioners, Children - Bulk Billed

Extended Consultation ( greater than 40 minutes) Standard- $ 73 Health Care Card Holders- $ 68 Pensioners, Children - Bulk Billed

ALL FEES ARE DUE AT THE TIME OF CONSULTATION By EFTPOS, Credit, Cheque or Cash

Bangalow Medical Centre can submit your claim for Medicare rebates and you will receive a cheque from Medicare in 3 to 4 weeks.

Medicare rebates are: Standard Consultation: $23.45 Long Consultation: $41.95 Extended Consultation: $61.60

A current Medicare card is required for Bulk Billing and Medicare Rebates.
