Policies and Appointments

Policy

CONSULTATIONS -  are by appointment only. Special provisions will be made for urgent cases. If you need an extended consultation, please advise the receptionist so that extra time can be allowed. If the doctor of your choice is not available to see you, an apointment with another doctor of the practice may be offered. This doctor will have full access to your medical records.
LONGER CONSULTATIONS - Please let the receptionist know if you would like to book a longer appointment. These will be necessary for consultations involving e.g. minor surgery, ECG's, medical examinations for employment or insurance purposes, pap smears and health assessments. Please speak to the receptionist if you are unsure about the length of your appointment.

TELEPHONING YOUR DOCTOR - Doctors in this practice may be contacted by phone during normal surgery hours. If the doctor is with a patient a message will be taken and your call returned as soon as possible. If your call is urgent, you will always be put straight through to the doctor.
