Health on Kensington

This practice attempts to provide high quality, affordable health care for all of our patients.  As such, our billing falls into two broad streams:

1. The practice requests payment in full on the day of consultation.

2.  The practice directly charges Medicare for follow up visits for patient services (also known as bulk billing).  This means that there is no extra payment when a patient sees a doctor.

As patients pay in full on the day of consultation , a list of fees and services is displayed at the front desk.

Cash, Credit Card and Cheques are accepted.

Any problems regarding a patients ability to pay can be referred to the practice manager.

At this practice we offer the service of Medicare Online Claiming.  A patient can supply their BSB and Bank Account number and their refund from Medicare will be deposited into their nominated account within 24 hrs.  A patient can also receive a refund cheque to home which takes approx. two weeks or they are entitled to take a receipt to obtain a refund from a medicare office.
