SURGERY POLICIES
RESULTS OF PATHOLOGY & X-RAY.
The practice policy is that patients are encouraged to make an appointment to have their pathology and x-rays results reviewed and discussed. This is important as at this review consultation the results can be fully discussed, the patients condition can be reviewed, a further examiantion can be performed and if necessary more tests/investigations can be ordered if the patients problem is persisting.

OPENING HOURS: The Buderim Marketplace Medical Centre opens Mon-Fri from 8.00am to 6.00pm and Saturday 8.00am to 12.00pm.

APPOINTMENTS: The Buderim Marketplace Medical Centre operates and appointment system. We encourage all patients to make appointments as this enables the doctors to function most effeciently and gives patients confidence that they will be seen at or very close to their appointment time. Our policy is to see any patients who have an urgent medical problem immediately. For this reason occasionally patients may find their appointment slightly delayed. Patients who walk in without an appointment are seen by the first available doctor as soon as possible.

HOME VISITS: The Buderim Marketplace Medical Centre provides home visits to patients who are unwell and who cannot make it into the surgery. All patients who can come into this surgery are encouraged to do so as this enable the doctors to make the effecient use of their time and the medical equipment which enables a more thorough examination of the patient of the practice.

AFTER HOURS: The practice provides care to our patients in the after hours period. When the practice is closed our doctors belong to the after hours roster. The after hours service which operates from a dedicated facility called the Sunshine Coast After Hours Service situated in Aerodrome Road, Maroochydore next door to Red Rooster. The after hours practice is open from 6.00pm to 8.00am week night and from 8.00am to 8.00am on the weekends.'
