Brindabella Family Practice Fees

Level B: $78.00 (Standard Consult)

Level C: $112 - $132 (Long Consult)

Level D: $178.00 (Extended Consult - 40 minutes plus)

Brindabella Family Practice is a private medical practice. Payment is required at the time of consultation. Our fees reflect the quality of service we provide. There is no bulk billing for doctors consultations. Bulk billing is available for most consultations with our Nurse. If you are experiencing difficulties please speak with the doctor. There is provision for differential fees for individuals holding a current pension card or health care card.

The fee charged for your consultation depends not only on the time spent with the doctor, but more importantly on the level of complexity of your problems. Please ask our reception staff for current fee details when you book your appointment.

We are pleased to offer Medicare Easyclaim. Once you have paid your account, our friendly staff can swipe your eftpos card through the eftpos terminal, enter your pin and your benefit is paid into your nominated account almost immediately. Practice staff will give you a receipt to confirm your benefit has been paid. Please keep this receipt for your record.

Procedures. The doctors also perform procedures which may incur extra charges (for example, removal of moles, liquid nitrogen, pregnancy testing, contraception implants). Reception staff can provide our fees for these extra services in advance if you request it.

Equipment fees. Extra charges may also be raised in certain circumstances to cover the costs of equipment or supplies. Examples include travel vaccines,  the use of emergency equipment, plasters, operation instruments and some dressings.
